Coalition Vision Statement

Comment icon Posted by Mark A. Matese at September 13. 2007

Hello,

Since the Coaliton meeting in Clearwater Beach, the Executive Committee, including Al Wheaton (Vice Chair), Su Daly  (Vice Chair/Secretary), Liz Treusdale (Past Chair), Andy Bettencort (Member), & myself (Chair) have been conducting regular conference calls in order to develop a plan of action/game plan for the Executive Committee & a list of activities for the Coalition.

One of the tangible results of these calls has been the development of a simple vision statement for the Coalition:

Vision Statement: The FLETA Coalition Supports & is committed to the continued development, improvement, & full integration of FLETA standards into the entire Federal law enforcement community.

We are working on developing a prodcutive agenda for the Coalition meetings that are planned during the November Board meetings in Houston, TX.

We are also working with the OA to sort the list of the Accreditation Community down so we can regularly communicate with active, voting members of the Coalition.

If you are interested in working with the FLETA Coalition Executive Committee, please feel free to give me a call at 202-732-1307 & we will find a place for you!

More to follow.

Until that time,

Mark Matese
