FLETA Office of Accreditation Executive Director Joe Collins presented Connie Patrick, Director of the Federal Law Enforcement Centers, with a farewell gift during her retirement ceremony on June 15, 2017. The Office of Management and Budget instructed Director Patrick to form the working group that established the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation Board. In addition to being part of the original FLETA working group, Director Patrick served as a member of the FLETA Board from August, 2002 until March, 2005. Director Patrick has always been a champion of FLETA and the accreditation process.
