Angela Hrdlicka has been a criminal investigator since 1990, when she began her law enforcement career with the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) in the Washington Field Office.  During her sixteen years with the USSS, Angela served in the Intelligence Division, where she provided oversight for protective intelligence investigations nationwide, and conducted foreign and domestic intelligence advances for the President and Vice-President.  While assigned to the James J. Rowley Training Center at both Beltsville, Maryland, and at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia, she served as an instructor, a Program Manager, and a supervisor.

Angela is currently a Special Agent with the Department of the Interior Office of Inspector General and has been detailed to the Inspector General Criminal Investigator Academy (IGCIA) as the Executive Director since August 2006.  As such, she is responsible for the development and administration of law enforcement training for the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency, whose membership currently includes seventy-four (74) federal Offices of Inspectors General.  The IGCIA also provides training to various state/local and military Inspector General personnel. 

Angela has participated in the activities of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation Board since 2003 as an Assessor, Board member, and member of the Strategic Planning and the Standards Steering committees.  She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Inspector Generals.  Angela received her B.A. degree in political science and Russian language from Duke University in 1988.  She lives in Brunswick, Georgia with her husband and two sons.
