Accreditation Manager (AM) and Assessor Training Programs dates announced for September 2008

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA), Office of Accreditation will hold an Accreditation Manager & Assessor Training Program, September 23-25,2008 in Chicago, IL. The AM Training will be taught the first 2 days, and is designed to introduce prospective and practicing Accreditation Managers to the FLETA process and cover the roles and responsibilities expected of an Accreditation Manager. It will also introduce you to the resources used to apply and achieve Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation status.

At the conclusion of this course you will have in-depth knowledge of the FLETA Accreditation process, interpretation of standards, process implementation and the roles and responsibilities of the applicant, the Office of Accreditation and the FLETA Board.

Assessor Training will be presented September 25th. This course is designed to introduce prospective FLETA assessors to responsibilities and roles expected of a FLETA assessor. The recommended audience for this course is someone who is has a working knowledge of the FLETA Standards, understands the intent of the standards and is familiar with the polices and processes of FLETA accreditation. The course will introduce assessor candidates to selection, training and evaluation processes of FLETA assessors. This course is mandatory prior to being selected to serve as a FLETA assessor.
