The FLETA Office of Accreditation is conducting the next Team Leader Training Program September 9-11, 2014 at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in Glynco, GA.

Team leaders serve a critical role in the FLETA process; they are leaders, role models, and mentors. Team leaders are selected from the current, active pool of qualified FLETA assessors. Team leaders must be knowledgeable of the entire FLETA accreditation process, including all standards interpretation and procedures.

Team leaders may be asked to serve as team leader mentors to other team leaders during the on-the-job qualification process. Finally, all team leaders are assessors, and as such may be called upon to serve as a regular assessor under the direction of a fellow team leader. Regardless of role, team leaders are expected to uphold the highest levels of professionalism, competence, and excellence.
