FLETA Gives Back

FLETA Program Analysts Liz Dodson and Stephanie Archbold prepare the gifts to present to CASA.

The FLETA Office of Accreditation (OA) sponsored a CASA child for Christmas. The FLETA OA purchased gifts to complete a young boy’s wish list as part of the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program. The CASA Program is based on the belief that every child has the right to a safe, permanent home. The majority of a CASA volunteer’s assignments are related to cases in which an abused and neglected child has been removed for protection from the care of their parents.

Program Analysts Stephanie Archbold (pictured right) and Liz Dodson (pictured left) led the effort to fulfill the wishes of a young boy. The gifts were presented December 15, 2014 to CASA.
