The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) Vision, Mission, and Goals are to maintain a highly skilled, proactive, and diverse Inspector General organization with a record of protecting and promoting fair tax administration. The TIGTA Training Academy is dedicated to fostering the highest level of professionalism and ethical behavior throughout the TIGTA workforce. The academy’s primary focus is to ensure that through training, every TIGTA special agent will receive all the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to be among Federal law enforcement's finest criminal investigators, who protect and promote economy, efficiency, and integrity in the administration of the internal revenue laws. The Academy delivers training programs at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in Glynco, GA and Charleston, SC.
