The FAMTP-II prepares Federal Air Marshal Candidates to perform unique and critical missions. FAMTP-II provides mission-specific training in transportation security, particularly the aviation domain, adapting physical skills such as firearms and defensive measures for safe application within the domain. The FAMTP-II course also reinforces and expands on topics introduced during FAMTP-I in the areas of International Law, Arrest Procedures, Report Writing, Transportation Information Sharing, Basic Negotiations, Aircraft Safety Procedures, Common Strategy, Aircraft Tactics, Defensive Measures and Advanced Firearms Techniques.
