DHS Office of Intelligence & Analysis Intelligence Training Academy (ITA)
Initial Accreditation
The purpose of the IDC is to prepare Subject Matter Experts (SME) from various fields within the Intelligence Community to effectively instruct students within the ITA. The course will utilize an instructor-led training approach to focus on skills specific to a proficient instructor, such as effective delivery of course material, student engagement, classroom management, and proper assessment procedures. The IDC is five instructional days and consists of 40 hours of instruction. The average number of students per iteration of the program is six.
