FLETA Office of Accreditation Program Managers Christiana Halsey and Cherri Allen delivered a FLETA Fundamentals workshop at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Leadership Career Development (OLCD) Leadership and Development Center (LDC) in Irving, TX on May 21-22, 2024. Fifteen attendees from OLCD, Enforcement and Removal Operations Training Development (ERO), and the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) participated in the program and included accreditation staff, training specialists, instructional systems designers, and other training staff who support ICE training programs nationally.

FLETA Fundamentals is typically a one-day workshop for delivery to training organization personnel as they prepare and support the organization's accreditation efforts, but may be modified to include: building files, managing annual reports, completing a corrective action plan, and assessing files. FLETA Fundamentals may be delivered in-person or online. Online sessions may be recorded and provided securely to the organization for delivering in-house training or as a reference.
