Kelly A. Lewis is the Director of the National CI Training Academy (NCITA) located at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA since August 2021.  Ms. Lewis is responsible for planning and delivering a full range of programs that include basic training, advanced training, and use of force training.

Prior to her selection as Director, Ms. Lewis served as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) for Criminal Investigation’s New York Field Office. In this role, Ms. Lewis oversaw New York Field Offices investigative operations in Northern and Western New York. 

In 2011, Ms. Lewis became a Program Manager in the Office of Refund and Cyber Crimes in Criminal Investigation’s headquarters.  In this role, Ms. Lewis coordinated many of IRS’s Identity Theft and Cyber Crime program areas.  Ms. Lewis received numerous awards for her work on Identity Theft issues within the IRS.

In 2008, Ms. Lewis was promoted to a Supervisory Special Agent in the New York Field Office, White Plains post of duty.  Ms. Lewis began her career with IRS-Criminal Investigation in 2001 as a Special Agent in in the Tampa Field Office, Orlando, Florida post of duty. 

Ms. Lewis received Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Stockton University in New Jersey in May 2001 and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Central Florida in August 2006.  Ms. Lewis is a native of New Jersey.
